Don't lose those X handles you forgotten about

Here's what you need to do:

  Search your email archive

  One of the easiest ways to find out if you have any inactive X handles is to search your email archive for any welcome emails from Twitter (the old name for X). To do this, you can use the following search query:

  subject:"welcome to twitter" from:twitter.com

  This should bring up any welcome emails that Twitter has sent you in the past, which should include any handles you may have registered but forgotten about.

  Send a post with your inactive handles

  Once you've found any inactive handles you want to keep, it's important to send a post with each of those handles. This will help to show X that you're still using those accounts, and it will prevent them from being released.
